The journey to this competition began in late 2014 during my final year of college. on the 4th of December 2014 I won first place at the National semi-finals and landed a place at the National
finals, which took place at Cape Town ICC the following year in February. At the nationals I won first place and began the process of preparing for
the international competition. It was then that Festo employed me to do my internship while preparing for the competition simultaneously.
The competition Took place at Inhebi hall in Sao Paulo Brazil August 2015. My role at these competitions included design, commissioning, wiring, assembly
and programming Modular Production Systems according to the test project instruction.
